Casa started on a real studio desk — buried under sourcing tabs, swatch photos and a budget spreadsheet that never stayed current.
The problem wasn’t design. It was everything around it.
Cassandra Beaudry, an NYC-based interior designer and architect, kept noticing the same thing: the creative part of a project was the small part. The rest was sourcing, copy-pasting specs, screenshotting products, chasing deliveries, reconciling budgets and rebuilding the same presentation over and over.
As a small-business owner, every one of those hours had a price — in profit, and in creative energy. The AI tools arriving at the time wanted to replace the designer. She wanted the opposite: technology that did the busywork so she could do more of the work she loved.
So she built it. Casa turns a product link into a finished spec, keeps the budget honest in real time, and hands the polished deliverable back — ready for the client.
